History of "ONLY JESUS MUSIC MINISTRY"

Who we are...
*"Only Jesus Music Ministry"* is a family sharing together the love of Jesus through song.
Why do we do it?...
As well as making music together, the Ministry also supports the following outreach programmes:
Church in the market place -	singing and street preaching, distribution of gospel literature at various outdoor markets
ICC - International Childrens Care -	As ICC representatives, we hold concerts/ICC presentations to raise funds to build orphanages and sponsor orphans in third world countries. (Isaiah 58)
Prison Ministry -	...Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me... (Matthew 25:31-46)
Retirement Homes/Nursing Homes -	Sharing gospel music family presentations with those who may not have the opportunity to attend a church fellowship.
Church Fund Raising/Evangelistic Outreach Programmes -	Assisting our local churches in raising funds for church projects by providing gospel music presentations.
Bible Study Correspondence -	"Bible Study Correspondence" card inserts are placed in our CDs to encourage a love and knowledge of God's Holy Word.
Community Programmes -	Festivals and Community Fund Raisers for charities such as The Cancer Research Foundation - "Australia's Biggest Morning Tea".
"Only Jesus" Music Presentations -	In churches, etc, singing and preaching "To uphold and encourage Christ centred families".

So how did it all begin?...

"Only Jesus Music Ministry" was founded by Gavin Chatelier, an Australian artist with a passion for Jesus' ministry. This is his story...

"Before my family and I took up God's call to a full-time family ministry, I had been for the most part of 10 years a singer/entertainer in restaurants and piano bars. After one of my television performances, I received a phone call from the well-known country singer, Don Gibson. He invited me to tour with him around the world, and he was willing to introduce me to other country greats, such as Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash, along with other big names in the industry. I will never forget his words, "You could make a lot of money son, and someone could make a lot of money managing you!"

"It was at this time my wife and I experienced God's calling stronger than ever to refocus our lives and change direction in our musical career. We had been studying the beautiful themes of God's Word, and the truth began to change our lives. "You are not your own; for you have been bought with a price..." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), "...purchased not with perishable things such as silver or gold but with...the precious blood of Christ." (1 Peter 1:18-19) My ambition to establish myself as a singer/entertainer has been overshadowed by the matchless love and grace of God. My family now has a vision of not only the great value and purpose He places in us, but in every person that is born into this world. "He gives light to every man which comes into the world." (John 1:9) It is with this motivation that we desire to share His amazing "Good News" through our "Only Jesus" presentations and family gospel music.

"In the last five years we have travelled throughout Australia sharing our family gospel music and testimony in hundreds of churches, of many denominations; Anglican, Assembly of God, Baptist, Church of Christ, Seventh Day Adventist, Uniting, Lutheran, Salvation Army, etc... We do not charge a fee, but sales from our five gospel CD productions and church offerings help to fund our expenses and ministry work.

"While we are based in Australia, we are currently in America taking our/His message across the seas. Our Ministry is small, but it has big visions, and an even bigger Hand motivating it. His love has touched our family, and we hope we can help you to feel that love too."
